The Festival of Stupidity

Dedicated to the celebration of the fools in our lives.

About Me

I have zero patience for stupidity, which is how I ended up creating this little gem of a website to share with you. Over the past several weeks, I've had to deal with a higher than usual concentration of morons and thus also of moronic activity; last Friday, I had had enough.

It came to me that I can't be the only one who would make stupidity illegal if she were in charge. Since I can't, unfortunately, outlaw idiocy, I decided: why not celebrate the idiots dancing through our days? Take a few moments and share our frustrations and hair-pulling-out-inducing-moments. Maybe together, we can make some sense of it all.

Or maybe we can just get a few really good  laughs.

So, you know I hate stupidity, but what else is there to say about me? I'm married, striding frighteningly close to my 40th birthday (although I still routinely get carded, both for alcohol and cigarettes, so maybe I'm not doing too badly there), have a husband and son who share my most Pagan ways--as well as my loathing of stupidity.  For the record, my fur kids, whether they voice their opinions in meows or barks,  share that loathing.

Other than that, I'm involved in cat rescues and rehabilitation, I'm bisexual and am active in causes to promote equality for the LGBT community, I am disabled and am active in raising awareness of the needs of the disabled as well as trying to help raise funds for research into some of these conditions. I enjoy reading, writing, sarcasm, learning...and a lot of other things as well.

I hope that some of your idiot-induced stress is relieved as you explore this site.

Brightest Blessings,

Melissa
